Antonio Brown Set To File Grievances For $61 Million
Antonio Brown has had a crazy ride this season in the NFL. The latest news with the former Patriots player has him set to file $61 million in appeals, an NFL record. He believes this amount of money is what's owed to him.
Brown is the first player in NFL history to file nine grievances and appeals at one time. The list of grievances and appeals filed by Brown includes a $1 million signing bonus from the Raiders, $29 million in salary guarantees from the Raiders, a $9 million signing bonus from the Patriots and $20 million from the Patriots for an option year in 2020.
The Oakland Raiders fined the wide receiver for conduct detrimental to the team and released him on September 7th. He was also released from the New England Patriots on September 20th due to him being accused of sexual assault and misconduct.
