Ben Roethlisberger Is Out The Rest Of The Season
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had a rough game on Sunday night. Roethlisberger announced that he would be out for the remainder of the season due to an elbow injury.
Roethlisberger injured his elbow during the second quarter of Pittsburgh's 28-26 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on September 15th. Roethlisberger grabbed his elbow after a pass attempt on the final drive of the first half.
Mason Rudolph replaced Roethlisberger for the entire second half of the game.
Steeler's coach Miike Tomlin says that Roethlisberger is scheduled to undergo surgery on his right elbow this week. He will be placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the season. With Roethlisberger finished for the season, the Steelers will have to sign a quarterback behind Rudolph.
