Ron Gronkowski Shuts Down Comeback Rumors
Rob Gronkowski is not stepping out of retirement and returning to the New England Patriots, the former tight end says. While shaving his head for a charity event on June 2nd, the three-time Super Bowl champ confirmed that he is happy and enjoying his health. Grownkowski announced his retirement in March shortly after hoisting his third Lombardi Trophy. Since then, rumors have floated around that he would change his mind. It looks like he has no intention of doing that, much to the chagrin of Patriots' fans everywhere.

While Rob Gronkowski says he plans to stay retired, other "sources" claim the opposite. Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman cites people who work for New England, "that once the season gets going, and Gronkowski starts missing football, he will rejoin the team. It's not just a hunch, sources say; you can count on it." For now, however, Gronkowski will have to be taken at his word. For the first time in nearly a decade, his body is healed and healthy, and he is content to see where life will take him next.
